The Baltic Gas Conference 2019: The market structures are changing
For the fifth time, leaders of the largest gas companies in the Baltic States, discussed the current developments and future perspectives of the Baltic gas market at the Baltic Gas Conference in Tallinn and visited the Kiili Gas pressure reduction station the day before, follwed by an exclusive Speakers' dinner.
The Baltic gas conference 2019 focussed on the opening of the Finnish gas market and the commissioning of the Baltic Connector. But also topics like green gas in the energy transformation, alternative use of gas and question- is the consumer finally becoming king were discussed.
The Baltic Gas Conference organized by the German-Baltic Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Estonian Gas Association, Eesti Gas, Latvijas gāze, Alexela Energia and the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation brought together key players from the industry from Estonia, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Belgium, Norway, Poland and Germany, politicians, regulators and customers, which were able to use the conference to inform themselves about the latest topics as well as network and discuss with each other. Another Highlight of the conference was the celebration of the Estonian Gas Association, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year.
